By the power invested on me as an active posting member I shall now bump up the very first thread created on NBF.

(yes, I'm bored).

Not sure I like this new layout.
Too many distractions.

Top Right. You can click back to the OLD style. I messed w/ the white & yellow bit for a few minutes, couldn't hack it and came back to the grey (and here I'll probably stay).

I feel like I'm walking through a museum looking at this thread.

Woot bumping this forum's oldest topic....ok I'll go hang myself now for saying that.

(The first NBF thread) Wow. Hard to believe that this is where it all started. I look back at the names and dates of those who joined here way before I did and it's amazing to me that this forum is still around.

Who would have thought that back in those early years that a simple idea of creating a forum for people of like interest to gather and share knowledge, ideas, and camaraderie would take root and blossom into what it is today? It's a testament to the creators of NBF and its loyal members for keeping the faith and continuing to make this place special.

As I get ready to bump this thread up to the top I take pause and reflect on the past 5 years (Damn, has it really been almost 5 years?) that I've been here at NBF. A lot of changes have been made in those years, but the core still remains the same, and I for one am glad to be a part of it. Thanks Shaun, Luke, and everybody else for making this a great place to be.

(Don't mind me, I always get this way at the end of the year- It's a time of reflection for me. )
