Hi I was just wondering- I've seen that some people who have macs have their dock so that is completely see through; and I like to have my whole desktop photo visible- just wondered if anyone could tell me how to make the space between the icons invisible- so that you see like the ion for Safar, then next to; apparently floating in nothing is mail?
Thanks

Download a program called Onyx, that should let you do it. It also lets you do a whole slew of other things to fiddle with your mac.

i think most people w/ that, like myself, simply have the dock hidden and set to pop up when your cursor is at the bottom of the screen, much like in windows w/ the "auto hide" feature of the task bar.

Not Autohide, Tria...the dock is a milky white colour and he wants to make it completely transparent.

I think your looking for a program called cleardock. A quick search on versiontracker will give you what your looking for.
