windows 2000 does not detect drive /ATA driver problems

Thread Starter
Windows 2000 pro install fails to detect the drive. I have RAID disabled.

However, when I try to use the supplied ATA driver on the floppy, the drive is detected and proceeds to a certain point when it tries to copy files.

During the copying files process it asks me again to put the floppy in drive A: and hit enter. I do that and it just seems to be stuck on that page and does not seem to try and read the floppy. The screen flickers, so it does try to do something. Also, it's not hung, as I can abort the process by hitting F3

Any one get windows 2000 working?

I have the same problem. If anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated. Windows 2K Pro won't recognize my hard drive. 98 SE blue screens when it tries to load drivers at finalization. FreeBSD installs without problems.
I'll load Slackware tonight after work and spend a few days at the command prompt trying to find a way to get Photoshop back.
Windows comes up short again, and **** you PC Torque for your useless technical support. Expect a ~lengthy review from me once this problem is solved.
