Quadro FX 2500M Drivers

Hey all,

Maybe I'm an idiot or something - but I can't seem to find a download for the latest drivers for the Quadro FX 2500M in my Dell M90.

nVidia's site has a download for the 1500M and the 3500M, but not the 2500M for some reason.

Any idea where to get these drivers? - mostly to optimize gaming.

Thanks

Dell's website has drivers from 6/13. Are those the latest?

Just go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista

Download 158 series w/ inf file. After you extract 158 driver (it will create it's own folder/or you may want to extract it on your desktop), replace the inf file with one downloaded from INF link.

Just double click on the setup in the folder, and vista will pretty much walk you through it.

How do you like the M90 so far? Damn nice for the price aint it lol?

Yeah I really like the M90 I installed those drivers, but they really seemed to drive my computer's temperatures up quite a bit. The CPU used to hover around 45 - 55 Celcius and the GPU around 40 - 55 Celcius. Now the CPU is staying right around 60 degrees and the GPU gets to 68 degrees before the fans kick in and knock them both down to the low 50's. And this is during internet surfing. But they really don't get much hotter during gaming because the fans are constantly on then. What's up with this? Are the higher temperatures the driver's fault?

That's strange. I know you have same model/spec as I do, and mine GPU on idle is 56C, CPU is at 46C.

One thing I can tell you from reading your response is that you don't have the fan running all the time, and I think you should run both fans on slow all the time (on idle), and make them run high speed when the temp goes over 60C. It's pretty hot summer, don't expect your fan to stay in low temp without running the fan at all.
