Dell 1520 256MB Geforce8600M GT

Hey everyone,

I'm currently in the market for a laptop and I've been looking very closely at a Dell Inspiron 1520.

The specs are listed here:
http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/...C=N15202V_F_1E

The only change I'd like to make to the laptop is upgrading to a Geforce 8600M GT. I might upgrade the RAM to 2GB as well, but I'm also sure I could do that myself later.

I was hoping this game could run some games decently. I'm not looking for maxed out graphics here, medium-low would be fine even. I'd like to play games like Splinter Cell 3, Spore and maybe even Crysis on low settings when it comes out. I'll also be playing some DX9 games from back in the day such as Ghost Recon, WoW, the old Splinter Cells and The Sims 2.

Could this laptop run those games?

The other laptop I was looking at was an entry level MacBook but not only is that more expensive, it will NOT play games. Just kinda looks pretty.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

It really should be able to do what you're looking for in terms of performance.
