T60 RAM Question

I have an ibm t60 computer and was wondering if it would make a big difference if I got 4gb of ram instead of 2gb of ram. I am mainly using it for light gaming so nothing too heavy

I'm looking at buying 2 sticks of this:

will that memory work?

Yes, that stick of ram will work with the T60. However, I have my doubts as to whether or not 4 gigs will be much different from 2 gigs. I keep a ram monitoring program open on mine and I never see more than 60% being used once Iupgraded to 2 gigs. About the only place that I imagine you would find a difference (although I still don't know if it would be significant) would be in benchmark tests like 3dmark or superpi.

Stick with 2GB of RAM, I have a T60P with 2GB and runs like a champ.

Plus, there have been people at thinkpads.com having problems with windows detecting 4GB of Ram, it only detects 3gb, sometimes less
