ibm lappy 7500 & fire gl

ho wmuch better is the fire gl for gaming than the 7500??? Also can the ibm's laptop graphics cards be upgraded? the processor?

So much better. It is a rebranded Radeon 9600, so it should be 4 to 5 times faster than the 7500.

well does the poor driver support hurt game performance? and any ideahs what the fire gl would do on 3d mark?

I just bought a t41p, and it really is a great notebook. The card plays games just fine. I had an Inspiron 8100 that struggled to play BF:Vietnam on low settings, and my t41p plays it fine on medium...haven't tried high yet.

Oldsocks, do you have the 7500 or firegl? My old i8100 had a 7500 and was a real powerful rig in its day, until it fell apart that is (damn Dell and their cutting corners!!!).
