Alright, hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I have a pretty big question. So there are two laptops that I'm looking at right now that fit my price range:
Acer TravelMate TM4200-4301 Core Duo T2050 1.6GHZ 2GB 120GB 15.4IN WXGA Dvdrw WLAN XPP Notebook

Acer AS5570-4072 Intel Core Duo T2350 1.86GHZ 2GB 160GB 14.1IN DVDRW WLAN Vista Premium Notebook

At the moment, I'm really favouring the laptop that comes with XP, but the Aspire one comes with a better video card, sort of. So I'm a student in University, and I would just like a decently fast laptop with the ocasional light gaming experience, nothing crazy. I am considering the Aspire one because I thought I could maybe reformat back to XP from Vista which would be great but I also realized I may run into driver problems. BUT, I did look at the Acer website for that laptop model and they drivers for XP for that laptop and it seems to cover all the hardware. But there is still the risk of things not working out the way I want it to, and the TravelMate would just be an easier alternative. What do you guys think? Or perhaps you guys have a suggestion on other laptops within that price range? Maybe even one with a really good battery life? Thanks.
