Does it fit?

My 9700 fits in it just fine. Lots of extra pockets and slots for CDs and disks.

Cool thanks.

Are those bags any good? I mean I went to the Alienware kiosk down in Miami and it doesn't seem too secure. Like the material used is so "lightweight." To put an expensive laptop in that kind of bag seems unsafe. I'd be so worried that my laptop would get banged up or something.

I can't vouch for the messenger bag, but I do have the briefcase. I find that the breifcase is prone to tipping over when loaded down with everything I need for work. I just took this picture with my camera phone, and you can see how it leans just abit to one side without a laptop in it...

The m9750 fits, but just barely.

What other brands of Laptop bags are high quality?
For shock resistance and size, and room to fit a charger, mouse, and that small Alienware binder.

BTW, does anyone know what that USB that comes in the same bag with the Windows Media Center Remote is?
the USB controls the remote that is used for the media center You have to plug in the USB to use the remote..

My tumi backpack was awesome but the 9750 won't fit it.

I was looking at another tumi bag. I bought a sleeve for it to protect it inside a bag.

Uhhhh....
My remote works without the USB.

it helps with watching tv away from the laptop it gives you a better range atleast it does for me... mine doesnt work well unless I have the USB receiver plugged in..

I think the built in IR reciever is in the left speaker, cause I think I saw it in the manual, and it works when I point it to the left speaker. WHen you watch TV< do you have to plug in the Antenna? What do you have to plug in?

do u have ur cable plugged into the adaptor plug that then plugs into the coaxial port...

i'm not too sure about this one, but there's a company called bum backpacks. www.bbpbags.com. i wanted to check some of these bags out at sonystyle stores but couldn't find any. they only have two or three bags that will fit the m9700/m9750, and the padding looks adequate (not too sure since i didn't see it in person). if you get a large bag and there's not enough padding, there should be enough room for you to put the laptop in a sleeve before putting it in the compartment. and the carrying system looks cool! and if you're looking for a backpack, there's one from the north face. don't have the url. site seems to be down right now. still need to search some more. hope this helps.

Like some one said above, the 9750 just barely fits in the backpack, but that said, it seems to be pretty well secure when inside, and it has a ton of pockets, and sleeves for games. Iam happy with it, although it could be just little bigger
