links are not allowed on this forum if I remember correctly( which is why I stated use item #'s)

I can't seem to find prices like the ones you listed anywhere.

After looking more closely 3 of the 4 auctions had people that had negative ratings against them , which hurts the bidding potential for any item sold.

In general look ing for that item you will not find it for low prices like that. The average is $350+. I can post links to 100+7950GX2's that are $350 or more.

-FYI if somone really really wants to seell something on ebay they can sell it at whatever insanely low price they want to, that doesn't mean that is what the card sells for at market value

(I can find XPS systems fully loaded selling for under $2k, that does not mean my fully loaded XPS is worth $1,999.00)

to clarify: barring things excluded by the For Sale forum rules (personal auctions or other that would somehow benefit the poster), theres nothing in forum rules against ebay links

Oh well, anyways, I should have an answer by wed next week about what they are going to do with my 7950.

then I think you should let all the other mods/CR's/admins know...because it's pretty significant and most often people get scolded for posting them.

managed to pull out a 13,635..Increased the vid clock. Don't think Ican push it much further w/o a peltier or liquid cooling as my vid clocks are sitting at 720/2.4GHz which is 105 MHz over stock ultra clocks

It allows all four cores of the quad cpu to be run.

the primary focus of the mod was to circumvent cheating unfortunately...SuperPi still doesn't use all the cores, you have to run multiple instances & manually set the processor affinity.

BTW I just did a new Superpi run.. woot!

13.047 seconds (1 Million) (the wierd screenshot is fom me running dual monitors lol)

I am running @ 3.9GHz right now. so far I have not crashed lol. Running Orthos

So with all that overclocked, do you run the computer at that insane OC all day long, or do you just do it for the benchmarks?

I run the benches & then I start up orthos for 24 hours & then 3dMark06 on a loop for another 6 hours to verify stability. If it doesn't crash I keep the clocks. If it doesn't hold I tweak it until it does lol.... It just sucks because when I'm running 3Dmark I can't use the machine for anything else lol.

I actually have that TV back in Vancouver. I bought it for about 1000 canadian when it first came out. I remember it being a steal. The only thing about is that it's resolution is a bit too small for my liking. When I take my Desktop back to Vancouver I'll probably use it as a dedicated video playback monitor while I have two smaller 22"ers or a 22" + 24" to work on photography and play.

a little stress test update... I am really thinking about trying for that 4GHz mark on air, but it's not something many have pulled off...

For those concerned about the upcoming X38 chipset, here is some info you might want to read...
