Almost Canceled my XPS

Well on April Fools day I woke up with all intention's of canceling my order with Dell and going with PC Tourqe for a new Sager 8870. Thinking that the 17" screen would be better anyway. But Dell's site now list my machine as shipped today with an arrival of tomorrow so we'll see.

I checked a few minutes ago, and my i9100 shipped today! Should be here tomorrow afternoon.

Mine lasted in boxing from Monday till late last night logged on this morning and showed shipping. I hope yours gets out soon. Good luck

Same exact story here. My i9100 was ordered 3/7.

Cannot wait to get the computer and start tinkering. I plan on leaving it up all night to download patches and whatnot, the spending Saturday at work removing whatever Dell software I don't need and installing all of my games and other software.

I ordered on 3/7 see signature for specs if you need more let me know. It stayed in preproduction till this last Monday and went from kitting to boxing in one day and shipped today.

argh, i have the same specs as you, ordered 2/25, went from kitting to boxing from mon/tues. looks like it's not first come first serve;(

oh well, i'll enjoy when i get it. I bet i paid less too!

i just checked status and it says shipped. funny part though, it's 8:00 west coast time, and it says, shipped as of 4/1/04. If I go through the regular status page it says shipped 4/2/04. dell is fairly scewy. Looking forward to the machine.

Man! I'm jealous My XPS is still in production. I ordered 2/27 -- it's supposed to ship tomorrow but nothing has changed via phone or web status...I wonder if it's the EE...hmmm...

Can I come over and play with yours? Or maybe you could post more pics just to give me an XPS fix...

Anyway, have fun...
