why vista runs slow in acer aspire 4310?

Hi there...

i just bought acer aspire 4310 and using windows vista... but the problem is its running very slow and always hang up, i cant work on anything... anybody who can help me with my problem?

try 1st cleaning up ur start up processes and services (disable and remove what ur system does not need)

any av running in background? some av bogs down system more than others, explore the forum for many good suggestions

vista also has the tendency to run a bit slow (but not much) during the first few starts, and it will become more efficient and quick as time goes on.

Try getting more RAM or using ReadyBoost
