6000 LCD upgrade ???

Thread Starter
I want to upgrade my lcd on my 6000 notebook
right now I have the 1920 hi-res lcd but its too dim for me
I would like to go with 1 of the below--it would be the same as a dell 1520 notebook display
would the lcds below work with a 6000? and if so which one would give me the best visability in sunlight?
Thanks, Craig..

Bumped. I was hoping that someone might know if a wsxga 15.4 from an Inspiron 1520 would fit in an Inspiron 6000D that is also a wsxga 15.4. My 6000 screen is cracked and I've got a buddy who is willing to ship me a spare screen he's got. I don't really want to bother him if it's not going to fit. I'm guessing it all has to do with whether or not the cables are compatible. I've tried searching everywhere in this forum and google and am not able to find an answer. If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
