This Section of the Forums is DEAD

Thread Starter
Sucks how the top (upper) 5 posts have like no-one commenting on them and are dead empty threads, tells me that you can't and wont' get much help in the sony section, so I wouldn't even bother posting or askin for help here. Also it seems to me that everyone here has like 100 posts, so no one really stays over here. Very differnt from the Dell Section or Alienware Section

Just look at the number of Zero Replies as well.

Wow it really is, hopefully a lot of tech veterans can lend a helping hand out to guys in other forums. I guess I just expected there to be plenty of people in every forum...man was I wrong.

A lot of them are fairly general questions I think, so it's not like it'd be too hard for people to answer. Maybe there could be a general tech/notebook support area to help take care of these guys without as large of a established user base as dell and alienware for example.

Darkloki... I remember that name from, well, the Dell forum.

I still have my XPS Gen2 (posting with it as a matter of fact) but I'll take delivery of a sony SZ next week and was hoping to get a question answered. I'll post it here anyway and see what happens.

Is there a sony forum somewhere else that's as active as the Dell forum is here?

There is nobody at this party (>_>)~sniff

Also, allot of these questions have already been asked and answered, seems folks don't like to search. I will only answer questions that I don't remember being asked before.
Then you have to take in account that there are tons more Dell users out there. There are other forums where the Sony people are more talkative.

wow this is sad. I was planning on getting a sony AR590E but I mostly frequent these forums for active discussions and sometimes some advice or assistance. mayb ill hold off on my purchase for now. but if I do get the ar590E I will deffinitely have to liven up the sony section. iguess most Sony VAIOs are too expensive for the average consumer and that Dell and heck even Alienwares are more affordable. I mean cmon the AR590E alone retails for 3200. for that price u can get a souped up M1710 or 9750.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get some help on it, but maybe by also posting in the general notebook help section too, since I think people do check that relatively often enough to help people out or to ask their own general tech questions.
