Asus C90s

Well, ever since this model C90s was announced like... in may, i was held down by an unknown force (lack of money) that prevented me to buy a new machine.

to be honest, several notebooks were announced, and altho i had to money to buy an Asus Aj8, as soon as i heard of the new deal i decided to wait.

Now, well the machine appears to be in stock, and quite frankly i seriously want to get it, but i have found no reviews anywhere!

All i found out was that the video card was weaker than expected, it seems to be around the performance of an 8600GS rather than a GT, but well it is supposed to be upgradeable.

which brings me to my next series of doubts...

Can the GPU be upgraded to a much better solution, perhaps an HD2600XT, or an 8700GT?
Can it be upgraded to next years models, 9600GT or 3600XT for example?
the CPU auto-overclocks itself, does that void warranty or is that inside the limist of warranty?
How is the build quality of the machine?

thats about it.. i really want to get this machine, and i hope to hear your opinions on whether or not i should get it.

It will be my desktop replacement machine, used for both college and gaming. im not a super gaming guy that requires maximum details, thats why i always settle for medium range.

Video card shouldnt be a problem, but Future CPU might be a issue since new CPU C2D is going to release next week with 1333 FSB... 945 support 1333 FSB? I wont know till then.

Well, if the auto-overclock for gaming clocks the 2.4ghz cpu up to 2.93ghz, i really dont need any CPU upgrades for a long time. besides a 2.4ghz C2D cpu is incredibly powerful, and considering i have survived with 1.6ghz Turion, i doubt i will be wanting a new cpu any time soon

Im really hoping to aquire this machine...

the problem i see with upggrading to a hd 2600xt is that, the core and memory modules might be in diffrent spots, so it would need a slightly diffrent heat sink.
