I have an Intel based 7700 I would like to bump the RAM up on. I came across 2 1gb DDR2-533-PC4200 DIMMS which I believe should work. However, when I put them in (any combination: just the new ones, old ones first slots new ones second, new ones first slots, old ones second) the machine refuses to boot-up. The lights come on, the optical drives spin, but the display is never turned on.

This leads me to believe the machine just doesn't like these RAM modules. Are there any recommended modules people have had good luck with before or any special instructions being how proprietary this machine seems to be.
