I'm going to be replacing my laptop in the next month or 2 and am looking at either one of the Eurocom Clevo notebooks (I live 3 hours away from Ottawa, so I could either pick it up locally or have it shipped quickly), or a Dell Xps m1710.
Is there anyone who has dealt with Eurocom that can tell me what to expect with them? How to approach them (phone, internet, etc.) to get the best deals, what their support is like, etc?
Also, I'm primarily looking for a portable (less than 11 pound, as I put them in my backpack, so a bit more weight isn't going to bother me) notebook with powerful graphics, a 17" minimum screen, and I'd prefer that, if I put the laptop in my lap, I won't give myself 3rd degree burns. What would you recommend as the best model (core 2 duo or the mobile equivalent from Intel is a must, I don't really get into AMD mobile processors as much)
