Sorry Captain Incorrect, I had that title long b4 Alienware ever came into the picture. There was only 1 hostile post, and believe me it was not an empty threat. I almost didnt get my alienware b/c the card I ordered it with got canceled about an hour after the order cleared b/c of a previous fraud report I had filed regarding another company.

Yeah, that is the only way my wife and I seem to get anywhere with them, is the threaten them with the BBB or with Lawyers or some other LEGAL crap.

archalien was threatening Alienware over a "windowblinds" software issue. What problems did you have with the Sentia, Tec ?

This is just stupid.

archalien, your issue was due to your software you added, not due to anything on Alienware's end. How is Alienware supposed to know you messed up your computer by adding third party software that had a conflict...? Did you put that in your posts in the forum?

In fact they had no hopes of discovering this unless they had you on the phone where they could find out exactly what you did to cause your problem by helping you troubleshoot the issue with an exchange of information.

Did you tell them in the forums that you'd loaded software that caused the issue? Doesn't sound like it, so they suggested what works for 99% of their customers, reloading the drivers. What did you want them to do?

Anyone that owns an Alienware knows that in order to receive prompt and thorough support, you need to pick up the phone and call either Customer Service, tech support, or go to their online tech chat, they would have had one agent deal with your issue quickly and consistently. The only answer they could have given you with the info you supplied on the forum is to reload the drivers. I suppose you wanted them to list the hundreds of possibilities your problem could have been related to? The forums are for general inquiries, the most frequent response is to call tech support so they can help you resolve your issues.

Your belief that your threat got Alienware shaking in their boots is laughable. On occasion someone like yourself threatens legal action or BBB reports, but all that does is make you look like a jerk. Your continued belief that you got results that way confirms it.

From now on if you have an issue with your system that may require an exchange of information, do yourself a favor and call or go into their tech chat so you can find out how you screwed up your system this time without having to make yourself look ridiculous, shrieking and stomping your feet when your issue is your own fault.

"Alienware tried to screw me, and I kicked their butt!!" LOL!!!

Too bad you reveal yourself as the only jerk, otherwise you might have read any of the posts I made b4 opening ur piehole and responding with nonsense. My issue w/ AW was never with the driver conflict, it was with the lack of professionalism with their support.

How often does AW call you? They called me 4 times before lunch, Id say I got exactly what I said.

I read your posts, too bad you can't read your manual, their website, and follow instructions before you spew your nonsense.

If you'd called them like the manual instructs you with a support issue such as yours, you would have had your issue dealt with the first time.

And as a matter of fact, I've had AW call me on several occasions for follow up on support issues, and inquiries I've made over the phone, and I didn't have to threaten them with legal action or the BBB. If you follow their procedures, their support is second to none.

I read your posts. You posted on the forums and weren't happy they didn't snap to and make your world a shiny place.

Read your manual and the website. They ask you repeatedly to call support, customer service or to use the tech chat for immediate response to your support issues. They say clearly the forums are for general issues, not specific ones, and for immediate individual attention to use the phones or the tech chat.

You screwed up your computer, and rather than calling and getting the issue addressed you chose to post on the forums then piss and moan about their response. If you'd used the procedures they have in place, you'd have saved everyone some hassle, and us constantly needing to listen to your bleating.

WOW, Id ask your English teacher for your money back cuz you didnt understand what you supposedly read!! Reading is nothing without comprehension.

I used AW's BB as a supplementary avenue, I called TS several times.

FYI I did not screw up my system, as WB is currently running fine, while Synaptics drivers are still buggy.

Go away HH, b4 u get kicked from here like you got kicked from Voodoo's Boards for running your mouth, by the way how does ElP's tuchas taste after you puckered up to get back on over there.
guys, honestly... your both intelligent people, you both post good info on the board, hammerhead has a great deal of loyalty and is very knowledgable about the company, however he does not like to see it smeared in any way shape or form... just leave it be.

the problem is being resolved, lets move on and continue to share our positive experiences with alienware. there are too many negative things in this world, to dwell on small, insiginificant issues.

for example, i just found out tonight my 16 year old cousin ran away with a 28 year old street life/haroin addict. the world is sick and nasty, shed positive light here. thanks.

I think really there both enjoying this....
