ok, im new...
but i swear i have the worst luck when it comes to computers.
my HP took a dump on me, i bought my buddy's m5500 cause he wants to "upgrade"
i bought it, caught a virus, reinstalled windows and everything works...
except the sound.
i cant get in thru alienware support cause im not the original owner, and my buddy is in the field for the next couple of weeks so i cant have hi access it for me.
i guess all i need is the make/model of the sound card, or if anyone knows a link to D/L the driver it would be greatly appreciated.
sound IS 'kinda" important to me, cause i use it for the net, pics, and as a portable jukebox which does me no good if i dont have sound...
oh yeah, i use it for watchin movies too, another reason i need sound
