smartcard reader wondrance

Whenever i start up my laptop, it always tells me "windows has found a new device, the smartcard reader". How do I tell it once and for all that i don't care about it, and that I do not want any pop-up announcements pertaining to "new devices"?

This is annoying me to no end.

You could always install the driver for the smart card reader then it work be working and not complaining

My XPS was doing this to me also, and no matter what I tried, it was doing something annoying. Anyways, go into Device manager (right click on my computer, propeties, Hardware, Device manager). Look for the tab that says "Smart Card Readers", click it, and right click on "Smart card Reader". Click Disable. No more problems.
