The only one i have really looked at is Dell, the Inspiron 1520 has everything i want except Gigabit LAN.
So, i dont know about the current Asus/Acer.... models
I have 2 main requirements
8600M GT graphics performance
Integrated Gigabit LAN
It could be a 14" or 15" size (not 17") and im flexible with screen resolution, Would prefere a Intel Core2Duo ~2Ghz, 2gig of ram and an SATA HD.
