NVIDIA Forceware 56.74 for NV users!

here are the files needed to make the defualt NV drivers form the nvidia site able to support our cards.
1. download from NV
2. start the installer to where it unzips the files, but stop it before it tries to install drivers
3. drop the files into the unziped files on your C:\NVIDIA\WIN2KXP\56.74 folder
4. run the setup program in the folder thne you should be good to go

I dont have the 5600, but I was curious if the Omega drivers work for the mobile GPU. I'm too lazy to go look for myself, so maybe one of you will tell me.

Will this work with any NVIDIA driver release? Apparently Doom 3 only works with one specific set of drivers which is so old it does not have support for the FX5600go.

no not with all drivers. the general process should work for all drivers, but these files will only work on 56.72
