But...You have to expect burnout kevin25a. We are enthusiastic about exploring something new. Answering a certain question is ok for about 10 times after which it becomes monotonous and we might even screw up our answer just out of lack of interest.
All I want from the newbies is to READ a little and LEARN first from the awesome volume of stuff that is here on the forums. You can look at your specific model, read reviews, check out pictures, benchmarks, quirks and problems associated with it - EVERYTHING
SO it is only fair that when all this is out there and someone asks a question that has already been asked a gazillion times - I (at least) feel that the guy is being lazy.
You must understand this - already nobody wants to use the search function - the forums is so huge!! Imagine if we all go about posting new threads left right and center - we might as well remove that search button. The forums will become useless, redundant and a major hog on time when you are seriously searching for information.
It is a must to streamline things and it has been done by Adam. I also got a few pm's from newbies asking me a question because they couldnt find the answer in the search - and I am proud to say that I was quite enthusiastic in my replies to them (unless they feel otherwise).
The enthusiasm is there and this is a place we call a second home - the third being the chat room
So just out of consideration for future and current members alike - give this thread a thought and think and research before you post.
I would also like you to know that I have simulated some 5660 related problems on my 5660 to try and find out what was going wrong - this has involved numerous re-installs of OS, various drivers, DirectX 8/9, powerstrip, rage3d and the list is endless...
Its great to have you newbies here - Cheers!
