Installing New Wireless Card without Voiding Warranty?

Is it possible to install a new wireless card without voiding the laptops warranty.

I really would like to replace my intel 3965 in my laptop (f3sc-a1 Asus) for an Atheros 5008 card. I get disconnected all the time even after updating my drivers, and it's extremely annoying.

If installing a new wireless card would void the warranty, should I just do it anyway? Or is there another feasible option for me that I don't know about?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say do it anyway if there ever was a problem just pop your old card back in.

doubt that installing a new card would solve this disconnection issue, check ur environment, router set up first

Well it could be that the card is faulty, so a new working card might help his cause.
