Latitude C800 - Worth bringing back to life?

Okay, a friend of mine handed me two Latitude C800 notebooks. One has the 850 P3, the other a 1GHz. The batteries, memory, harddrives, side CD-ROM, and front CD-ROM are all missing. The 1Ghz processor is toast.

Both laptops work otherwise (used the 850 to check both). Is it worth putting the money into these to bring them back to life? (I would be getting most of the parts from eBay..)

They didn't come with a power adapter either... but the adapter from my Inspiron 5000e is the same... luckily......

Seems so old. Sound like something my cousin has that is just so yesterdays technology I marvel at how she can stand a 1hour boot time (lol). However in your case, you could go for something newer. Lets say you drop 150 at newegg/ebay, I think it might be a worthwhile investment to just pickup a newer system, seeing as how you are going to spend money either way.

Hope it helps
