I have purchased an Amilo PI 1556 8 months ago. 4 months ago I began experiencing heat issues. When I boot the notebook it stays quite for approx. 15-20 minutes and then the fan starts and I just goes on and on until the notebook crashes with a blue screen. It can take everywhere from 2 hours to 2 days before it crashes but the fan runs insanely loud all the time non-stop. The Nvidia control panel reports an idle temperature of 85-95 degress Celsius. I don't play any games or nothing. The fans even starts when the notebook is idle and goes on and on and on. It drives me crazy. My question is, is this to be expected? I mean with a C2D 1,83GHz and a 7600 Go gfx card installed I would expect some problems during gaming but I don't play any games it just goes nuts even when it is idle.
