wow.. is this for real?

i ordered my Area-51 on July 22, and the estimated shipping was August 13.

Well... i check my email today, and i get a confirmation saying that my order has shipped! So... its about 13 days early, and i dont know whether i should be surprised, excited, skeptical etc...

if its real.... then wow... i love alienware =]

Most likely, it's true! The computer will have to be boxed up and ready to go for you to get the "It's been shipped" email. Congrats. Hope this makes up a bit for the price drop on the processor (maybe this explains why it was too late to change it - not a bad reason!).

Congrats. Pictures when you get it, please.

Just saw this one...oops on the CPU price reduction/upgrade. Gotta love an Alienware arrival for the weekend though!!! Q6600 kicks ass I hear. You are gonna love it! Congrats.

That happened to me before. I had a machine ship out in less than a week once.

it happened to me, machine was on my doorstep 2 days before the estimated ship date. alienware does come through with some fast shipping at times...
