hi. i bought a sz430n/b. i am confused about two things. i was wondering if you could help.

first, the PCMIA card reader (on left side of laptop) is exposed. is there supposed to be a nonfunctional insert?

secondly, the specs say 5-1 card reader. i cannot fit my SD card into the memory card slot. am i doing something wrong? thanks.

My SZ340 has a blank insert for the PCMCIA slot, and it came with a free multi-card reader that goes into the express slot on the right. If you have neither of those, check to see if your laptop was in fact brand new and not a refurb.
