Sager 5690 (np5690) release

The Sager np5690 will be replacing the current 5680 model by the 3rd week of April. We're not expecting much of a price jump if any at all from the current 5680. The only difference being noted as of right now is the video which will be a 128MB ATI 9700 Mobility instead of the 128MB 9600 Pro Turbo currently offered. There is no word on where the clocking will be set at. There's also no word yet on upgrade programs and other models.

The Sager 5690 is now available for ordering.

They're expected to begin shipping as early as the end of this week.

The only other news we have is that RAM price increases may affect the laptop pricing very soon.
