will leds light up?

Hi! i wonder if I have a 9400i and i will buy the 1710 and the 1710 palmrest will the led on the XPS and lights will light up? Or is there a special connection that I need to plug to get those light up? Is the 9400 mobo = the same as 1710 mobo?

I do not understand what you're saying. Try to rephrase it a bit clearer. By the way, I'm unsure if you're trying to get the LED's to light up on the XPS or the 9400. Of course they work on the XPS but they will not work on the 9400 unless you replace the motherboard with an XPS motherboard which isnt really feasible.

thank. That's what I am looking to know. I just wonder if those light on the XPS LCD lid and palmrest will light up in case if I swap the palmrest and the LID of a 1710 to the 9400.

I think we need to do detail search for light these LED lights. I will try to search more in Google.
