The 4080 is a friends, the 8790 is my dads and the 5680 is of course mine

What are the height differences between the three laptops with the lids closed? lol the 5680 looks fat - but I still love it

the 8790 and the 4080 are about the same height closed. The 5680 is slightly higher then the 2 manily because of the big ass feet on the back

my brother is getting a 8790 and im ordering a 5680 (or 5690) at the end of the month. Cant wait until we can post pics of ours.

heheehhe i know the feeling.. I got to of my friends to get 4080s and my dad got 8790. ANd of course i snaged my 5680 to replace my old 5650 back in september.

Im sure Napalmdvt meant "baddest mofo" in a fun way because the 8890 is really the only Sager that draws deep feelings of love or disgust...I think it IS the baddest mofo among them all...

The 8790 is the delicate looking female samurai...

The 5680 is the pocket knife

The 4080 is a wannabe badboy JK

8790 = Aragorn
8890 = Gimli
5680 = Legolas
4080 = Frodo/Sam

Im with you on this one with a slight modification :-


8790 = Gandalf!!
8890 = The BalRog (it does breathe fire )
5680 = Aragorn (packs a punch in a small form factor)
4080 = Legolas...

Accessories = Frodo/Sam etc.

what! no comments on the last one?

Anime geek warning: Tenchi Muyo : OAV

8790: Ryoko - cool looking, powerful, but extremely task specific, and has tendecy to make user intoxicated.

8890: Ayeka - annoying and whinny, but still powerful, and for some reason die hard fans think she is the best one for Tenchi....shudder, umm inbreeding anyone? Collectively they both have the most issues (mentally - whinny brat or physically - fans, bios, beeps, keyboard, screens, pixels, availability, the list goes on: most fixed now though).

5680: Sasami - powerful, mobile, and modular. Most functional one of the group, but like Sasami, could stand to grow up a bit (size = screen 15" too small).

4080: Mihoshi - always good for a few laughs, but not to be underestimated. Still packs a punch... at random intervals.

4780: Washu - umm, plot development and was an experimental stepping stone for better technology just like Washu.
