Alright here it goes... I am looking for 750GB-1TB NAS that is accessible from anywhere in the world.. via remote connection... I've looked at CNET and the newegg reviews but those are usually fluffed.. I wanted to get a real review and hear about the experiences you've had... so here I am...

I'd appreciate your input...

I would say the Buffalo. Although more expenisve, it is Gigabit ethernet vs 100BT of the others. It also support more protocols if may it more flexible for you when it comes to outside access.

FYI: After researching along with the 1TB Hammer NAS I also picked up a Netgear Gigabit switch to get the true Superrrrrrrr fast connection.... all for under $450

I like the Buffalo, simply for the hackability, running Debian on my 250 at the moment...
