Bluetooth problems with Vista (works in XP)

Thread Starter
i recently bought bluetooth dongle from eBay.
it came with CD of course and i had no prolems making it work on XP pro on desktop.

recentely bought laptop that comes with Vista, and drivers no longer work.

the dongle uses BlueSoleil software to make it work on XP.

i want to their website but they say i need to buy some license for like $29 to make it work with Vista?

can anyone help me out there?
They say if you purchased your BlueTooth dongle illegally (i got frome ebay) then it has only up to 5MB transfers before the dongle will be useless.
i dont really know what they mean...its a website that was probably translated from chinese.

anyways here it is...
http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/index.asp?topic=bluesoleil_voip

see at the top it says i can only transfer 5MB of data before it will become useless

bluesoleil that comes with the dongle sold on ebay works only for that particular dongle model. it is correct that bluesoleil tries to get u to buy the real/complete version if u wish to use it with "any" dongle. i m not aware of the limitation of the software that came bundled with the dongle, unless it is being used to try to unlock another dongle?

i had to pay for a full licence when going into vista, the upgrade did not work with the version delivered within the dongle. But now i can use bluesoleil with pretty much everything else, including my nokia 6680, xp or vista.

cheers ...
