2.16 VS 2.2 Core 2 Duo

What are the differences between a 2.16 Core 2 Duo and a 2.2 Core 2 Duo? Is it just clockspeed?

how would that one compare to the lowest price macbook pro on apple.com?

if the only differences are clockspeed related, then...i'm guessing this would be a great deal?

The chipset and bus speed as well. The 2.2 is using a 965 chipset which tosses in a few more slight performance increases on top of the extra clockspeed. But more significantly doesn't the 2.2 have a newer 8600 video card? Do you care about that? If not then it probably is a good deal for you.

2.2 ships with the Santa Rosa chipset, and the 8600M GT, a significantly better card than its predecessor, the X1600

Also, I hear there's been a huge boost in battery life for the 2.2, presumably because of the LED-lit screen they use now.

the boost is something like 30 minutes, maybe an hour more... can't remember exactly. It isn't huge, but it is something.
