Mind you I'm probably the last person to judge audio quality. I have just enough of my hearing left to not require hearing aids. I continually ask people to repeat themselves on a regular basis weather on the phone or in a face to face conversation. I sometimes have trouble hearing myself and people are constantly telling me to lower my voice.

The only reason I can think of that you hear a difference in your games with the Creative software installed is because you've enabled EAX...which does change the sound in applications that support EAX.

Do you suppose it'll eliminate Snaps, Crackles and Pop? I mean I love Rice Crispies and all but enough is enough. And I cant find it on NewEgg, please Help I wanna buy it ASAP. I loved me older one on my M170. Placebo things are always cool.

Yes, the soundblaster card is an upgrade. The software is useless.
