vaio sz430n xp drivers

hello everybody,
i need a help , i bought a sony vaio sz430n and i installed winxp but i realized that the drivers are for vista version . i could'nt find drivers for win xp. im in real trouble now. PLEASE HELP,

DOes anyone have xp drivers for the vaio sz-430n laptop. Vista is starting to piss me off.

These are the XP Pro drivers for a simliar SZ unit. I didn't check all hardware, but most is the same. Please PM me with your progress as I am considering this same procedure.

I'm assuming you've found them by now, but if not, the Sony page has XP downloads for all other SZ340's, and I'd bet they would work for yours. Just ping Sony Support Chat and ask them which model you should indicate when looking for downloads.

BTW, if you're installing XP after running Vista, congratulations for making the upgrade!

can you give an update on this? if it works, i would like to try the same thing. we cannot support Vista at work and this thing is almost useless.

When I download the drivers from the VGN-SZ360P/C, which has nearly identical hardware, they come in the form of a self-extracting zip and run an install program that tells me the laptop is the wrong one for these drivers. Is there a way around this issue? Is there a way to get the drivers without the Sony install application?

I have made several calls to Sony support on this issue as I've been considering a purchase of the SZ. The reply is a flat " we don't support XP on any unit that came loaded with Vista ". The staffer also stated that the company had no plans to offer XP as a downgrade.
