#1 is my first mod. I have since rebuilt the internals and kept the case. I fixed the side intake with new plexi to be better looking, outfitted it with CCFLs (as seen in #2 and #3 pictures), LED front lights and a 4 knob LED fan controller, and flip military style switches for the lights, also red. I call her Shiva.

#4 was a build in progress. My fiance choose all UV CCFLs and parts, and I was putting it together over time...until she left me that is. I took it all apart and painting it black (I suppose like my soul now...lol).

I plan on updating this with pictures of my modded laptop (once I get it and break it in) and more modded PC's. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Awesome, dude. Let there be LIGHT! I don't have any mods, but I got a kick out of this laptop mod I found recently.

I wish I could figure out the clear acrylic the guy on that site did.

I wonder if you could remove the case, get a mold made like a sculpture, and get a plastics place to make one from that. Might be a lot of work. Maybe it would be easier to paint one with KlearKote?

I think what the guy did with the "clear" laptop was just wiped away the paint with something like nail polish remover or something.
