Dell Vostro 1400 Truelife vs Anti-Glare LCD

Thread Starter
I just received my Vostro 1400 in the mail today and I opened it up and started playing with it.

I selected the 14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife™, and I am sort of doubting my decision. This is my first truelife LCD and the glare is bothering me.

What are the best conditions to use an LCD like this in? I'm wondering if I should try to call Dell and get the anti-glare LCD....but I may not like that either.

Does anyone have any experience using a truelife LCD or the anti-glare... Pros and Cons?

Thanks!

My laptop has a TrueLife screen..14.1" same as yours..

I dont like the glare (especially outdoors) , but TrueLife enhances colors,

I got used to it very easily, just make sure the lighting in the room is ok (not behind u..etc)

I've used both and I would take the Truelife in a heartbeat. The colors are so much more vibrant. Using them outdoors does suck but I use mine indoors.
