Hey guys, I'd like to start by offering a warm hello to the users of this forum.

After many hours (or, at the very least, tens of minutes) searching google, I'd thought I'd point my qureies in the direction of this forum. The situation is I have just purchased what I feel represents a good value laptop, offering dual core processing, 1gb of ram, 120 gig sata etc for under £300 (inc vat).

However, there were always bound to be some weak points and, so far as i can tell, on this machine it is the gpu and the increibly cheap looking case. I was wondering if anybody had any advice with regards replacing either of these. I know the graphics are integrated but, according to this, http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx...icleID=511&P=2 in the section entitled "Can any of VIA's Direct X9.0 integrated chipsets run Aero?", the PCIE slot means an upgrade is possible.

So, if anybody does happen to have any information which they are willing to share with me, thank you.

Regards,
