USB sound cards

Hi all,

I've been looking at the PCMCIA SoundBlaster, and I noticed there are USB sound cards as well. And I perfer USB because my PCMCIA slot is to the right of my laptop (in the way of my mouse). Could anyone recommend some USB sound cards?

USB soundcard = less mobile than PCMCIA sound card

with that said I've never used a USB sound card but it would be pretty safe to bet that any Creative Soundblaster series would work fine......I hate Creative as much as the next guy but there really aren't many alternatives.

your best choices are the bigger ones that have their own power connector but that would really not be portable
