Ok, well I just ordered a new notebook from HP and I wanted to get other's opinions on it. I'd like to think I know more than the average Joe about computers, but I have had the same desktop for about 2 years now and haven't really kept up with whats considered an average rig for either desktop or notebooks
Here are the specs for my notebook:
Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7300 (2.00 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
17.0" WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1680 x 1050)
2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
511MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth
HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
Thats pretty much it. Like I said I was just wondering what you guys thought. (If the specs sound decent? Is this what most people are carrying around? or just any other opinions)
To be honest, from what I know its a pretty good set up, but like I said I am just not sure what's considered average now and I was wondering what kind of gaming potential this rig has.
Thank you ahead for any responses.
