Acer Ferrari 1000-5123 vs. Sony VAIO SZ650N/C

I love both of these laptops...I currently have a Sager NP5760...huge desktop replacement. Awesome laptop, but I need something portable for travel too.

Both of these are light, up to 4GB RAM...one on Intel Duo, one on Turion X64 X2. It looks like the Intel one has a neat graphics card feature to it...

Anyways, any recommendations? Which do you think is better? Is there something out there in the 12-13" range that's even better than these in both power and portability? Battery life is also a huge plus.

Thanks!

Nevermind, I think I'm going to go with the Lenovo X61s with the ultra-lite screen instead.

Really? If cost were not an object, you would go with the Ferrari instead? The Lenovo looked uber to me compared to the others. I was actually waffling between the Sony and the Lenovo.

Why the Ferrari?

i dont care for the lenovo just because i dont like how the screen turns just because i always feel like they are going to break and fall off....i actually like the Sony too upon looking at the specs a little closer

Yeah, I'm actually back to liking the Sony again I think. Up to 4GB RAM, nice and light, has a DVDRW built in (unlike the Lenovo that needs an UltraBay). And a better video card.
