Is it just me, or did it disappear from the site?

Also: the Quadro 570M, for anyone who has one...how is it for heavy rendering apps and games? I figure it's similar to the 8600GT, but I'm not sure if it uses GDDR2 or GDDR3.

DDR3 I'm almost 100% sure.

And about performance, it's said to be quite powerful, like > than GeForce 6800/Quadro 1400... however, this is only in benchmarks like 3DMark. So what does that mean? Well, that high end cards still have wider memory buses (256 vs 128 bit) and thus the bandwidth is likely to be lower, which will limit the performance at native screen resolutions.

Yuppers,

It has DDR3 and it is gone from the site. Last week at 11:30 I was going to order the T61p with the 15.4inch screen and the 570M and the next morning it was gone. Then, two days later the 14 inch 570M disappeared. Does that mean that they don't have any in stock? I'm actually quite upset. By the time they comback they won't be on sale anymore and I won't be able to afford it.

Anyone know what happened?

I am in the exact same boat. I was going to order it to and then it was gone and none of the T61 models on the site have all the options I want. It's so disappointing.

Yeah...I was hoping for it as an alternative to the Asus G1S/V1S, but it looks like I may have to go that route anyway. Bummer, I was looking forward to a Thinkpad. =(

Well,

I just got off the phone with Lenovo sales and the T61p are gone until they get more LCDs and nvidia cards. The sales rep was thinking it wasprimarily due to the video cards and they coulg beback online for sale in a couple of weeks. The sale that is going on right now, $300 off, ends August 27th. So, hopefully they are back up by then.

I hope all of you order the T61p this Memorial Day weekend. They had them back and at 25% off. Got mine and it is already shipped.
