Cool experience on my flight last night

I have my AW out doing some work on my flight home. After the in-flight movie they had a TechTV segment on mobile gaming. They reviewed the AW (my configuration even to the color). People looked at me with p3nis envy. They acted like they never say 16" of pure power before. Very cool.

I guess Tech TV is really mainstream now, getting segments on airplanes. Of course, its also the airplanes cheaping out on the entertainment, they can get TV feed for next to nothing. That's nothing against T-TV, just part of the economics of flying. Better there be something worthwhile rather than Judge Judy or some reality series or worse, infomercials.

you mustve been flying 1st class. I tried opening my old dell on the plane, couldnt hardly get the screen open. I know this thing(AW) wouldnt come close.

I always sit in the emergecy exit row (more leg room that even first class) if I don't get my free first class upgrade. On Delta, Elite flyers (Silver,Gold, or Platinum) can go online and get about any seat in economy they want way before anyone else. They reserve seats that others can't access on their own. Pretty cool. And they get to board right after First Class and before everyone else so no fighting for overhead storage. It is fun to watch the cattle board after I do and see them getting all pissy. I always wear my bad attitude t-shirts to really piss em off more (like my T-shirt that says "Your lips are moving but all I hear is blah, blah, blah" or the one that says "I would like to control-atl-delete-you" or the one that says "I see dumb people".)

I just got a load of shirts from THinkgeek.com including the "All your base are belong to us" shirt. I even got my wife the "I Love my geek" girls t-shirt (in ultra tight size of course). I am so glad she is in decent shape and looks nice (don't know why in the hell she is with me).

*lmao* Quite a good thread. On the TechTV note though, if you hadn't heard they are being merged into Comcast's (I believe) G4 Network (I know) - their network completely devoted to games. They'll be getting rid of most of the British crap (no offence to the british, but I can't stand the shows on TTV from England). Keeping The Screen Savers and a few others, but all the same, TTV is biting the dust.

I hear ya. I'm assuming you have at least two batteries? I can't seem to get more than about an hour of gaming or little more for work on flights.

I also hear ya about the exit rows, sucks sometimes being 6-4. I bought my brother a shirt from tshirtsthatsuck.com that said 'ask me about my explosive diarrhea' with the stereotypical clean-cut 60's lad on it. Great stuff.

Remember, in the event of a water landing, your alienware can be used as a flotation device.

Megan is butt ugly. Why do chicks into computers have to be mutants? Hell, Killcreek even has a fugly face (the only good thing about her is breast implants). Every chick on the Screensavers either has a horse face or could eat a cob of corn through a chain link fence. The black chick who hosts the show with Martin Short is not bad looking compared to the others.
