Hello,
I am new to the community, but very thankful I found it. I've tried searching my solution in the forums but haven't found anything of usefulness yet. I am hoping someone here may be able to point me in the right direction.
My computer is a Compaq Presario R3000 (Intel) Notebook PC and I lost my recovery disk for this laptop. I thought I'd be resourceful and use the recovery disk to my roommates computer which is a HP as well, but is a desktop instead. That plan didn't work out so well.
I'm wondering if there is anywhere I could download a recovery disk and burn it and then use it on my laptop? Is this possible without having to purchase a new one?
Also.... I've tried restoring my laptop to an earlier date, a couple months back when things were running GREAT, but everytime I do it, once the computer reboots, it tells me the store was unsuccessful, everytime I do it. I've looked up help information but nothing has helped solve that problem, so I figure the only way to do it is with a recovery disk, unless there's another suggestion maybe someone could make?
Definitely appreciated!
Sincerely,
Bryce W.
