I chose the skullz. I was gonna get a biohazard logo to replace my dell badge too, but the dell doesn't light up from inside, so I'll pass. I don't wanna wire things on the laptop myself.

Didn't think any of them looked good enough to spend $40 on, so I passed...

heh, there was a typo when I ordered. It was $39 cheaper if you chose the cover. Now there just free for the iXPS.

.... or, more likely, part of the price increase is the "standard" snapon kit. Which to me would just be more "packaging" to circular file when it gets around to arriving, so can't say I'm disappointed. It's a computer, not a skate board

for xps owners you have to select a cover, but does it come already snapped on, or do you snap it on yourself? to be honest, i would probably just leave the cover off if it adds any bulk to the system

You don't actually have to select one. You can choose not to get one but since its included in the price might as well. That way you can use it as a scratch cover to protect the lid which actually looks pretty professional on its own.

As for bulkiness they are not really thick at all. But they are quite easy to take off and put back on to meet your needs.

Oh and mine came already snapped on when it arrived.

I got the skulls also. Figured it was the most appropriate one for a, "Killer machine".

Still trying to sell my Alienware on Ebay though, don't want to be stuck with two lappies.

Cipher.

But I think it would be cool if we could submit customized art to create a cover...

That would be awesome .. A plain black cover and you can submit a photo of anything to Dell and it would be printed on the cover just for you .. I'd order a few and I could change them out with my mood or what I'm doing ..

It would be nice but think about the Malaysian children's little hands! Order now and we'll get it to you next year guaranteed!
