That's the 3000, the 3200 is still pending, at least in the US.

He is asking about the 3200 which has an AMD 64 bit chip not an Athlon XP 2500!

Anyway this is the only thread I know of with information relating to the Ferrari 3200, and I don't know when it is coming out but it does look pretty cool!

Will come to stores in finland during may. (confirmed by local acer product manager)

edit:

And the processor is supposidly a 35w low power version. (12W in powersaving mode at 800mhz)

Finally, the true mobile AMD64 chip, NOT the DTR. I wonder how they would compare though. They say the Mobile can actually utilize PC3200 ram.

Lol he did that in my post asking about amd64's a while back too... and he didnt get it when I snapped back telling him that it wasnt the right notebook I guess. So rude...actually I think its just forums... they bring out the _-_hole in people

If only somebody would actually offer it with pc3200. One thing that really bothers me about acer laptops (don't know if others do the same though) is that they put 2*256mb ram instead of 1*512mb. I don't really know what I'd do with the two sticks if I'd upgrade to 1 gig...
