The story was top notch. And it actually looked really nice. Some parts didnt look as good as others, but still it has great environments, music which all come together to m make a pretty decent game

Can't afford a better video card...

But imo the 7900GS should be enough to play the game. I've also overclocked it to 600/800 mhz. It runs Oblivion great...actually I get better graphics and better FPS in Oblivion than in BioShock. It has to be the game.

Well, let's hope it's not an indication of how Unreal Tournament 3 is going to run (considering that it uses the engine). I've been very surprised at the lackluster performance so far on my 7950 under Vista.

Hello, I have an M1710 with a nvidia 7900 GTX videocard. I bought Bioshock and during the installation, I was directed to the nvidia bioshock download screen to download the 163.44 forceware driver for windows vista 32bit. When I tried to install, though, I got an error message saying: "The nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit." Does anyone know what I need to do? I'm sorry I'm such a newb. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

Now playing with actors high runs smooth also.

I am getting great FPS 1600x1200 everything max.

Fx2500 590/630

In oblivion I am getting 30fps outside 60-70fps inside. absolutely everything maxed HDR natural surroundings bumpmaps, 1920x1200. on that card.

7900gs is good, but it's not that good.

ehh right.

it doesn't game good at high res'es. cranked.

not as good as the gtx/fx.

past certain res. more memory helps alot. and more pipes.

and it's good for low*er res gaming and overclocking
