Gateway 7322 problem

I came home tonight and I noticed my latop had two lights on, the blue and the yellow. The yellow light was blinking which it's never done that before. The screen was blank and nothing would come on, so I held the power button in and tried to restart the computer. No luck. The yellow light just keeps blinking on it's own, no blue light. I pressed it over and over, but it just keeps blinking and won't restart. What does this mean?

tried removing the battery, unplug the ac, hold down the power button for 20-30secs and see

The flashing yellow light usually indicates a completely (well almost ... too low to power the notebook) drained battery, and no current from the DC jack.
