someday you may meet someone who acts differently than you expect. Along with shazza's age, she's gained a lot of wisdom. If you pay attention, you might just learn something.

Of course, I can only speak from what I have learned. I am just in a crappy society that has caused me to become a very negative individual as of recently. And I understand what shazza is saying, it's just from those experiences I've had, I can't say that's it's unconditionally true.

And I'm not trying to argue or anything, but just make sure y'all know where I'm coming from

And to add at least something on topic.....Anybody else looking forward to crysis?!?!?!

lol ... I misunderstood, pdonket. I thought you were referring to people here at NBF - didn't realize you were talking about your neighborhood.

And, YES! I'm anxiously awaiting Crysis.

Ahh, no problem I don't even know a fraction of the people here at NBF!

The screen shots look to die for I just hope my 8800GTS will keep up

Hopefully, I'll have my rig built before Crysis launches.

Seen Far Cry 2?

it looks very promising as well.

For a moment there I read Fart Cry 2.

Never mind...

I sometimes feel the same way as the poster, although I don;t currently own a PS3 or 360, I find myself wanting the newest and greatest video card, just to play the games a bit better.

I spend alot of time tweaking, and alot of time rebooting because sometimes things just don't work right.

I'd rather just like to put in my game, and run the bugger, not have to remap and tweak visuals to get a good FPS.

I'd like to jump ship and just go console, but there are just too many good PC games...

I agree 100% with you man. Recently I've had the urge to go for a console so I just don't have to worry about graphics updates and processing updates any more. Especially with HD on the consoles now, it looks fantastic.

We go way back, but if you do... I'll slap you silly.

Well I think we took this thread as far away from the op as possible. lol

I wouldn't now but at the time I made that thread I was really going to. The Max I'd go to now would be the Q6600

Yeah, either the Q6600 or E6850 would probably we your best bets. Both have a great bang for the buck....the Q6600's is less noticed for me but I think you'd find it quite useful

I've drooled over a couple of console only games but not enough to buy one. I have my PSP for extreme portability gaming and a couple of decently powered laptops for gaming. I've got the guts ready for a decent desktop or two, proccessors to be decided, and some designs on some decent games.

FPS- Team Fortress 2 even if just for Nostalgia
Call Of Duty 4
Crysis

MMO's- Tabula Rasa
Conan
Warhammer 40K(not finalized)
Age of Armor (maybe still looking)
Huxley
Force of Arms(still looking)
Fallout

RPG- Space Siege

RTS- World In Conflict

this is what I can remember right now...
What's everyone else looking at?

Don't get me wrong, I'll still PC game, I just won't be one of the people who has to run out and grab the latest hardware anymore...
I sold one of my Geforce 7900 GTX cards and bought an 8800GTS and that will be my last upgrade for at least a few years.

The XBOX 360 will probably become my primary gaming machine, providing I actually buy one.

The PC still rocks for gaming, but after working on a computer at work all day, it's nice to get away from it for a little bit.
